JOIN US! Davio's Cooks for Reese's magic fund - April 19, 2018 - 6:00pm
On Thursday, April 19th from 6 - 9 pm Radio Host, Jenn Hobby will roll up her sleeves alongside Executive Chef, Matthew Rosekrans, and get cooking where she’ll be serving up one of her favorite dishes - Tagliatelle Bolognese all evening long. In addition to Davio’s Atlanta’s full dinner menu, the restaurant will be serving Hand-Rolled Potato Gnocchi, Organic Mushrooms, Basil, White Truffle Oil as well as the 8 oz Center Cut Filet Mignon and 100% of sales from this dish, prepared by Jenn herself, will be donated to Reese's Magic Fund at the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorder Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Hobby’s daughter Reese was diagnosed with Stage IV sacrococcygeal teratoma on August 13, 2016. To honor her fight, Reese’s MaGIC Fund will support the work of Dr. Thomas Olson and Dr. Megan Durham, the leaders of her medical team. Dr. Olson established MaGIC (Malignant Germ Cell International Consortium), which includes surgeons and oncologists from six continents. Their goal is simple: create a team of doctors from around the world who can share their experience, expertise, and research to prevent and cure germ cell tumors.
