Play It Forward: Family Fun for a Great Cause
Net proceeds to benefit the United Way of Greater Atlanta Child Well-Being Impact Fund.
On behalf of United Way of Greater Atlanta, the Consumers’ Choice Award and the Business Community Network helped host a successful fundraiser for the Child Well-Being movement. Stars and Strikes of Sandy Springs graciously provided the venue free of cost.
The event, held Saturday morning on September 8, 2018 at Stars Strikes, included 3 hours of unlimited bowling, laser tag, games, and a lunch buffet. Dozens of children and their families enjoyed hours of fun and great food. The function also provided the attendees the opportunity to partake in volunteer activities and to learn more about children in need in our community.
A net of $1,600 was raised after expenses – the funding will go towards the Child Well-Being Impact Fund which supports the great work of United Way in the Greater Atlanta communities.
