June 9th is United Way of Greater Atlanta’s Giving Day

Giving Day is a 24-hour online fundraising event to rally individuals, corporations, and communities together to elevate the help needed across United Way of Greater Atlanta’s 13-county region.

June 9th individuals, corporations and local communities are coming together with United Way of Greater Atlanta to do MORE for the nearly 500,000 children and their families living in communities lacking the basic opportunities and resources needed to thrive. 

When we work together — pooling our resources, time and energy — our community impact grows exponentially to create an equitable future for all. Donate today or June 9th to help us reach our goal.

Our Child Well-Being Mission

At United Way of Greater Atlanta, our Child Well-Being Mission is to improve the well-being of children, their families, and the communities in which they live to create a thriving and inclusive Greater Atlanta where every person, regardless of race, identity or circumstances, has equitable opportunities to live a healthy life and to acquire the education and skills they need to earn a sustaining wage so that they may achieve their full potential.

To improve the well-being of children, families, and communities we have identified Investment Priority Areas within Child Well-Being that offers the highest potential to impact communities with low well-being and the region overall.
